Grant Beach Neighborhood's Annual Pet Show

Each year in Grant Beach Neighborhood sponsors an informal neighborhood pet show. The 2007 Pet Show will be the fourth year and we are looking forward to a big turnout. No matter what type of pet you have, you are welcome to bring it. In the past years neighbors have brought snakes, turtles, colorful birds, cats, kittens, big dogs, little dogs and more.

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Registration at 1:00 PM

It is a fun time to show off your pet, win some prizes and trophies while you have lots of fun.

There is also another wonderful side effect of the neighborhood pet show: Neighbors get to know each other's pets. This helps when someone's pet goes missing because the neighborhood turns out to help locate the missing pet and knows what the pet looks like. If a neighborhood pet gets out and a neighbor sees it they 'rescue' it and call the owner.

We, in Grant Beach love our pets as they are part of our families. We love to show them off whether they can do any fancy tricks or not.

Pre-Register YOUR pet today for the 2007 Pet Show!
This year instead of a pre-registration form online, you can pre-register by email. In order for your pre-registration to count you MUST include ALL the information listed below AND MUST be received before 5:00 PM on the 15th of June 2007.

Pre-registration fee is $1.00, you can pay it the night of the pet show. However, if you wait until after the pre-registration deadline to register your pet the registration fee is $2.00 instead of $1.00.

Pre-Registrations by email MUST be received by 5:00 PM the DAY BEFORE to pet show.

Emails to pre-register CANNOT be accepted the day of the pet show. ( We will be too busy that day getting ready for the pet show to check email)

	PRIZES will be offered in a variety of categories.
	There will be guest speakers.
	Pets must be contained or on a leash.

The Grant Beach Neighborhood Betterment Association is a group of citizens working together to maintain and improve the quality of living in our area. We meet monthly on a regular basis to address neighborhood concerns, and encourage residents to start smaller neighborhood watch groups in their block. We believe that people should actively participate as citizens in a democracy and as neighbors in in a community. We are a group of citizens interested in working together to maintain and improve the living quality of our neighborhood, motivate the city to address our concerns, be a spawning ground for neighborhood watch programs and build a sense of community among us. Working together, there is little that cannot be done, working apart there is little that can be done.
