Christmas Craft Hand Print Wreath

Christmas is a time for family and friends to enjoy each other. What better way to do that then to do a Christmas Craft together?  Children really enjoy making Christmas Crafts with an adult. These Christmas craft ideas can be used by individuals or by groups.  Also the best gifts are the ones that are hand made. A great Christmas idea is to help a child on your list to make a Christmas craft they can give as a Christmas gift.

Supplies
  • Thick, White Fabric - cloth napkins work well
  • Red and Green Paint
  • Wooden Dowel
  • Ribbon or Yarn

    How To Make It
    1. Lay fabric flat on some newspapers.
    2. Using one hand to dip in paint, form a circle on the material to look like a wreath.
    3. Let the green dry.
    4. Dip one finger in the red paint and make holly berries on the wreath.
    5. Fold over the top of the material to form an opening to slid the dowel through.
    6. Tie the ribbon or yard onto the ends of the dowel to hang it from.

    • The Grant Beach Neighborhood Betterment Association is a group of citizens working together to maintain and improve the quality of living in our area. We meet monthly on a regular basis to address neighborhood concerns, and encourage residents to start smaller neighborhood watch groups in their block. We believe that people should actively participate as citizens in a democracy and as neighbors in in a community. We are a group of citizens interested in working together to maintain and improve the living quality of our neighborhood, motivate the city to address our concerns, be a spawning ground for neighborhood watch programs and build a sense of community among us. Working together, there is little that cannot be done, working apart there is little that can be done.

    This website is simply a tool we use to help keep our neighbors connected to each other, to their neighborhood and to their City of Springfield, Missouri. Please consider attending the monthly meeting. Potluck Dinner for the whole family and Free child care for the meeting
