Annual Neighborhood Pet Show
Each year in Grant Beach Neighborhood sponsors an informal neighborhood pet show. The 2009 Pet Show will be the sixth year and we are looking forward to a big turnout. No matter what type of pet you have, you are welcome to bring it. In the past years neighbors have brought snakes, turtles, colorful birds, cats, kittens, big dogs, little dogs and more.

Location will be Grant Beach Park
It is a fun time to show off your pet, win some prizes and trophies while you have lots of fun. There is also another wonderful side effect of the neighborhood pet show: Neighbors get to know each other's pets. This helps when someone's pet goes missing because the neighborhood turns out to help locate the missing pet and knows what the pet looks like. If a neighborhood pet gets out and a neighbor sees it they 'rescue' it and call the owner.
We, in Grant Beach love our pets as they are part of our families. We love to show them off whether they can do any fancy tricks or not.
