Halloween Sayings From Around the Internet
Below is a collection of Halloween Songs from around the
world. Enjoy... Some (not all) of the songs are scooted oddly all to the left...
we are working on trying to fix this. Please bear with us.

The Critter Got Away
"Who's been messing up the oats?"
Yelled a Farmer cussing oaths.
Saw a Goblin, tried to lob him!
But the critter got away.
"Who's been pulling up the corn"
Yelled a Farmer one fine morn
Saw a Boggart, almost got it!
But the critter got away.
Yelled the Farmer, "What's the use?
Critters ruin what I produce.
Goblin, Boggart, I have had it!"
And the Farmer went away.
Traditional Polish

The Dragon
There's a dragon crawling round the room.
Do not get too close or it will surely spell your doom.
A dragon's always looking for something to munch.
If you don't watch out, you may be his lunch.
Traditional Indonesian Folk Song

I Will Catch a Giant
I will catch a giant
By the toe, by the toe!
I will catch a giant
By the toe! Roar! Roar!
I will catch a troll
By the nose, by the nose!
I will catch a troll
By the nose! Eaarh! Eaarh!
I will catch an elf
By the ear, by the ear!
I will catch an elf
By the ear! Squeek! Squeek!
Traditional Song, France

I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid of the clapping monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
I'm not afraid of the clapping monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
And it goes clap, clap, clap, clap
And it goes clap, clap, clap, clap.
I'm not afraid of the whistling monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
I'm not afraid of the whistling monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
And it goes wooh, wooh, wooh, wooh
And it goes wooh, wooh, wooh, wooh.
I'm not afraid of the humming monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
I'm not afraid of the humming monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
And it goes hum, hum, hum, hum
And it goes hum, hum, hum, hum.
I'm not afraid of the kissing monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
I'm not afraid of the kissing monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
And it goes kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss
And it goes kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss.
I'm not afraid of the nothing monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
I'm not afraid of the nothing monster,
I'm not afraid at all.
And it goes (silence)
And it goes (silence).

Night Noises
Night-time noises, shapes and shadows,
Creeping round my bed;
Dad says it's imagination,
all inside my head.
I hear something big and furry
Creeping round the house;
I'm so frightened, please what is it?
....Silly, it's a mouse.
Two green eyes are at the window
Staring at the mat;
I'm so frightened, please what is it?
...Silly, it's a cat.
I can see enormous fingers
Pointing right at me;
I'm so frightened, please what is it?
...Silly, it's a tree.
I can see a great white face that's
Looking in my room;
I'm so frightened, please what is it?
...Silly, it's the moon.
Night-time noises, shapes and shadows,
Couldn't hurt a flea;
They were just imagination,
All made up by me.

Old Witch, Old Witch
Chicken my chicken my creamy crow,
I went to the well to wash my toe,
When I got there the water was low,
What time is it, Old Witch, Old Witch?
What time is it Old Witch?
Old Witch, Old Witch, she lives in a ditch,
And combs her hair with a hickory switch.
She lives on nails and snails and flies
And if you go near she'll wobble her eyes,
Oh, she'll wobble her eyes, Oh, she'll wobble her eyes.
Chicken my chicken my creamy cran,
I went to the well to wash my hand,
When I got there the water was sand,
What time is it, Old Witch, Old Witch?
What time is it Old Witch?
Old Witch, Old Witch, she lives in a ditch,
And combs her hair with a hickory switch.
She's fat as a feather but tight in the middle
And when she talks she sounds like a fiddle.
Oh, she sound like a fiddle! Oh, she sound like a fiddle!
Chicken my chicken my creamy crase,
I went to the well to wash my face,
But, when I got there the water was lace,
What time is it, Old Witch, Old Witch?
What time is it Old Witch?
Old Witch, Old Witch, she lives in a ditch,
And combs her hair with a hickory switch.
She sleeps on a bed with straw and corn
And when she snores she sounds like a horn,
Oh, she sound like a horn! Oh, she sound like a horn!
Chicken my chicken my creamy cregs,
I went to the well to wash my legs,
And when I got there the water was dregs,
What time is it, Old Witch, Old Witch?
What time is it Old Witch?
Old Witch, Old Witch, she lives in a ditch,
And combs her hair with a hickory switch.
And as I said she's very fat
And when she walks she jumps like a cat,
Oh, she jumps like a cat! Oh, she jumps like a cat!
American Traditional

Waltzing Matilda
Waltzing Matilda (Carrying a Swag)
Oh! there once was a swagman camped by a billabong,
Under the shade of a Coolabah tree;
And he sang as he looked at his old billy boiling,
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matida with me?"
Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda, my darling,
Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?
Waltzing Matilda and leading a water bag
Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me.
Down came a jumbuck to drink at the water-hole,
Up Jumped the swagman and grabbed him in gee;
And he sang ashe stowed him away in his tucker-bag,
"You'll come a-waltzing Mailda with me."
Down came the Squatter a-riding his thoroughbred;
Down came Policeman - one, two and three.
"Whose is the jumbuck you've got in your tucker-bag?
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me."
But the swagman, he up and he jumped in the
water-hole,
Drowning himself by the Coolabah tree;
And his ghost may be heard as it sings in the Billabong
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?"
